We feel that our definition of 'repair' also defines us as a company. We believe that one should not be in the repair business unless they truly know the product they are servicing. To know the product, you should understand the inner workings; in other words, how it is made and what makes it work. We know every component in a monitor and what they each do to make a monitor light up. We know every wire in an arcade and pinball and what they each do to make a game operate to its full potential. We know every chip and transistor on a CPU/MPU board and what they each do to create the game that you enjoy playing.
If your game is not working properly, we will determine if the problem is in the wiring, the board or the monitor. We will only replace the board or monitor as a last resort. Our aim is always to fix it by narrowing it down to a particular component and replacing it. Replacing a component is a lot less expensive for the customer than replacing the board or monitor! In layman's terms, we are not 'board pullers' or 'wire wigglers'. We know what we are doing. We have indepth knowledge of electronics. We believe that if a person does not truly know electronics, they have no business 'repairing' someone's game. It is simply not fair to the customer.
